What care should I take with my Be You Concept Swimsuit pieces?

From the moment of purchase to washing the pieces after the beach or pool, here are all the tips we've gathered for you to keep your bikini in good condition for much longer.

• Wash after use: If you've just come out of the pool or sea, never leave your bikini wet without washing it. Remove excess chlorine or salt using running water at room temperature. This prevents possible damage to the fabric. Strong and fluorescent colors should be washed separately and with a larger amount of water. Avoid contact with other damp pieces, as it may stain.

• Use mild soap: If the fabric is delicate, you shouldn't soak it in fabric softener or wash it with soap, as this can alter the color of the piece. In addition, mild soap also helps maintain color for much longer. We advise washing the piece before the first use.

• Forget about the washing machine or dryer: Rinse your pieces with cold water and squeeze the fabric gently, but without twisting it. If the thread is sensitive, over time it begins to lose its original structure. When you twist it, you're breaking the fibers. And that shortens the useful life of the product. *Remember that drying your bikini needs to be in the shade and do not use an iron.

• Avoid rough surfaces such as cement, stone, or any type of surface that may rub against the fabric. So, if you like to sunbathe near the pool, don't forget to bring a towel to sit on. After all, you don't want a bikini that looks old and full of pills on your bottom, right?

• Be careful with tanning oils and self-tanners: If you like light-colored pieces, here's a warning: some products can stain your bikini. So be very careful during application.

• Do not wear your bikini with light-colored outerwear, as there may be pigment migration to your piece.
